Luxury Bathroom Renovation with Brushed Brass Features

This luxury bathroom renovation in Torquay Devon was completed by DSB Bathrooms involved a full strip-out and redesign to create a modern, luxury bathroom with brushed brass finishes, textured wall panels, and a spacious walk-in shower area.

Rubbish Removal / Disposal – Luxury bathroom renovation Devon

All existing sanitary ware, floor coverings, tiles, boxing, and unwanted materials were removed and responsibly disposed of by DSB Bathrooms.

Electrical

 1st and 2nd fix electrical works included:

• New extractor fan and isolation switch
• Removal of underfloor heating controls
• Replacement of pull cord with external wall switch
• LED lighting installed within shower alcove
• Electrical supply added for LED mirror cabinet and toothbrush charger

All electrical works were completed and tested upon installation.

Plumbing & Building Works

The bathroom was fully prepared and reconfigured to suit the new layout and fittings.

• Removal of existing sanitary ware and floor coverings
• Central heating and drainage alterations
• Installation of plywood flooring base ready for vinyl
• Rockwool insulation installed beneath floor
• Full stud work installation with built-in alcove

Selected existing wall tiles and WC were retained where suitable.

Preparation and installation of luxury vinyl flooring throughout the bathroom.

• Finished with trims and sealant where required

Shower Wall Panels

Installation of waterproof wall panels throughout the shower area, window reveals, alcoves, and boxing.

• All surfaces sealed for a waterproof finish

Painting & Decorating

Preparation and painting works completed to:

• Ceiling
• New entrance door

Architraves and door linings excluded from decoration works.
